Interrupt
I’ve noticed i interrupt people a lot when they’re talking to me. Actually, it’s more like i finish their sentences. I think it’s because of growing up with my parents who aren’t the best English-speakers. When they talk they usually leave their sentences dangling as they try to find the right word to say. My impatience kicks in and i fill in the word they’re trying to remember. I’ve gotten really good at finishing people’s sentences because of it.
I’m not sure what the etiquette on that is. I feel like people would think it’s rude and annoying. I think of it as me paying so much attention to what they’re saying that i know exactly what they’re going to say next. And it’s not like i cut them off. They’re usually trying to find the word and i provide it for them.
Otherwise, they take forever trying to find the right words or fail to find them at all.
