Alcoholics are really nice people! Everyone was so welcoming and kind to me it was weird, but nice. This was the kind of AA meeting that had guest speakers and other people do most of the talking so other than introducing myself, i didn’t need to say anything else. It was more of a listening experience which i enjoy more. I like listening to other people’s stories of how their lives were with alcohol and how far they’ve come since. It’s really touching. 

I also learned that having to go to 3 AA meetings a week (as the court has ordered me to do) is considered a lot. I thought it was normal, but i guess i’m special. 

Oh! And they gave me a bag full of twinkies and cupcakes and sweets at the end! Seriously, alcoholics are so nice.
